Hello everyone! How is your day going so far? This blog is going to have a lot of different, fun and healthy recipes that I hope everyone will enjoy. My mom and I love cooking and baking together and that is where I got my love of cooking. One of my favorite foods that I love making right now are raspberry oat bars. They are very easy to make and are delicious.
Here is a picture of raspberry oat bars. You don't need to be a expert baker to make them and they are fun to bake. If you are interested in making these all you need is:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cups seedless raspberry jam(any kind of raspberry jam will work, I have used different kinds and it is still good! I also don't use an exact amount of raspberry jam, it is up to you.) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and oats in a bowl then rub the butter using your hands into the bowl to create a crumbly mixture. Put some of the mixture, about 2 cups it does not have to be exact, into the greased pan and spread jam on it. Pour the rest of the crumbly mixture into the pan and press it into the jam.
That is all you have too do! But the pan in the oven from 35 to 40 minutes. Allow it to cool before cutting and you have your raspberry oat bars! I hope you guys enjoyed my first recipe! I pretty much love any kind of baked good, so this recipe is perfect for me! Whenever I go to a bakery and they have a raspberry oat bar, I'm probably going to get that!
